Emily Cardwell & Ben Westfall have been long time collaborators and friends. When Emily was back visiting the Bay Area, she and Ben decided to collaborate on an improvisational record and the results were: Frog Prince & White Rabbit Improvise. Sonically the artists felt the soundscape resembled a frog pond and through the process of mixing and sequencing the record, the album drags you deeper down the rabbit hole. Recorded in Oakland and mixed and mastered in Texas and Germany, Emily and Ben intended to create a unique sound experience germinated from a spontaneous, improvisational practice.
